First Look: Ryan's Emotional Return to Parenthood

Just when you thought it was safe to put away the Kleenex...

Earlier this season on NBC's Parenthood, Ryan (Matt Lauria) left Amber (Mae Whitman) reeling when he broke off their engagement and reenlisted in the Army. But he'll be back for the final two episodes of the season on April 10 and 17 — and from the looks of it, they're both a little battle-scarred.

"Matt has done such incredible work on the show, and we are so thrilled to have him return," says executive producer Jason Katims. We'll do our best not to get too attached.
