\r\nI Am Paul Walker, the documentary chronicling The Fast and the Furious franchise star Paul Walker's life and tragic death, is headed your way this summer. The Paramount Network announced Tuesday that the film is slated to premiere Saturday, Aug. 11 at 9/8c.The doc will offer up an intimate look at the late film star through never-before-seen home videos and untold stories from the people that knew him best -- his family. He died in Nov. 2013 when his Porche crashed into several trees and caught fire. The death was ruled an accident.Walker was in the middle of filming Furious 7 at the time of his passing and production halted for several months while the crew figured out how to proceed in the wake of his death. Principal photography on the film was completed in July 2014 with help from Walker's brothers Caleb and Cody who were used as stand-ins for his remaining scenes.The documentary comes from Derik Murray who profiled other famous figures including John F. Kennedy Jr., Muhammad Ali, Heath Ledger, Bruce Lee and MLK Jr. I Am Paul Walker premieres Saturday, Aug. 11 at 9/8c on Paramount.
