All right, show time! I'm glad the main event's about to start, because I was just watching the TV Guide Network's red-carpet pre-show and really needed something to distract me from Lisa Rinna's massive cleave.
Sally Field, Doug Savant, Ellen Burstyn, Sandra Oh and a bunch of other actors recall memories of their acting roots, all ending with "I'm an actor." It's a lot better than "I'm not just the president, I'm also a client." Touching.
Kyle MacLachlan makes an American Express-card crack. Wow, that only took four minutes.
Tina Fey and Steve Carell look snappy.
James Gandolfini wins for Male Actor in a Drama Series. A man of few words, bra-vo.
John Travolta and Nikki Blonsky introduce the
montage. I don't think it was much of a stretch to make Travolta look like Tracy Turnblad's mom.
Debra Messing and Zac Efron present Leading Actress in a Drama Series. Deb's having some trouble reading the teleprompter. Ayy.
Edie Falco wins. How about we just give
everything and call it a night?
