Chicago P.D. has been on the beat for less than a year, but the NBC crime drama has wasted no time earning its stripes as one of the toughest police units on TV.

Thanks to its blend of compelling cases and rich personal backstories — Team Linstead, anyone? — Sgt Voight and his Intelligence Unit have become some of TV's favorite crime-solvers. And they're just getting started cleaning up the mean streets of one of America's toughest cities.
