Attack of the Show! host Olivia Munn will be racking up the frequent flyer miles this year, thanks to her TV filming schedule. The actress is now splitting her time between New York, where she spends one week per month as a correspondent for The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, and Los Angeles where she spends the rest of the month filming the mid-season NBC series Perfect Couples.
"We have eight episodes filmed right now," Munn told TV Guide Magazine at Comedy Central's Night of Too Many Stars: An Overbooked Concert for Autism Education of the romantic comedy. "Because we come out in January, we get to skip the fall season rush."
Despite landing the NBC gig, Munn has no intention of giving up her Daily Show job as "Senior Asian Correspondent." "I'm so unbelievably thankful," she said, adding that Stewart "shined the light of God" on her with the opportunity. "Everyone is so funny. Sometimes I just sit back to take it all in."
Her travels will also take her to Washington, D.C. for midterm election coverage and Stewart's Rally to Restore Sanity, a march against Tea Party extremism set for October 30. "If we can get Rally to Restore Sanity to trend on Twitter that week, I'm going to do Red Rover with everyone who wants to come out."
