Jim Halpert (John Krasinski) and Pam Beesly (Jenna Fischer) are finally getting married on Oct. 8 in a one -hour special episode of The Office on NBC. Never fear, co-executive producer and star B.J. Novak assures us that they'll actually make it down the aisle.

"I can promise you that it will work out for Jim and Pam and their wedding, that's never in doubt," Novak tells TVGuide.com. "It's really about how they get there and what kind of memories they're going to wind up with."

The Office's John Krasinski proposes to Emily Blunt

There's even a website for friends, family and fans to send their well wishes before the big day. While the wedding website leaves us wanting more, with the guest info, location, video blog and registry sections set to "coming soon," the actual wedding won't be so suspenseful. "We're not so much about suspense with Jim and Pam, we decided to go a different route," says Novak.

"We decided to go [with] the funny things about real life, fantasy meeting reality and making the best of unexpected problems. That's sort of where we find our inspiration with Jim and Pam rather than will they, won't they."

Are you happy the pair is finally tying the knot?
