On Thursday's episode of The Nightly Show, Larry Wilmore went all out — note his outfit — in anticipation of listening to presidential hopeful Ben Carson's new rap campaign ad. Unfortunately, it didn't take long for the host to rip off his cap and declare, "I can't listen to this sh--.
"This is just ridiculous," he said, skewering the admittedly awful rap tune. "You know what, I feel bad for my rap listening equipment. It still hasn't forgiven me for my longer-than-normal Ray Parker, Jr. phase...Come on, Ben Carson. A rap song? Is it so hard to get the black vote? You're the black candidate! You're in danger of losing it now."
Though it seems the GOP candidate agrees with Wilmore, who said during an event in Miami on Thursday that he "probably would have taken a little different approach.
"Well, there are people in the campaign who felt that that was a good way to do things. And, you know, they're entitled to their opinions about such things," Carson said, according to CNN.
