CBS Orders Game Show Pilot from Idol's Nigel Lythgoe

CBS has ordered a Deal or No Deal-esque game show pilot called Secret Fortune from American Idoland So You Think You Can Danceproducer Nigel Lythgoe, Deadline.com reports.

The game presents contestants with 24 envelopes, each containing a check for amounts ranging from a dollar to an outrageous fortune. Over the course of the game, 23 envelopes are destroyed, leaving the contestant with a possibly life-changing sum.The show, which is based on a Wild Rover Productions format, will be executive-produced by Lythgoe and Wild Rover's Phil Morrow.
