The trailer is finally here for the new Netflix series Sense8, but your brain might hurt after watching it.

Created by siblings Andy and Lana Wachowski (The Matrix) and Joe Straczynski (Babylon 5), the show follows a group of eight strangers around the world who are linked through their personalities and become connected after the death of a sensate (a member of a different group of eight). The connection means they start sharing sensations, like tasting food that another is eating and seeing someone that no one else can see.

The idea of Sense8 is to explore people's truths and the differences between what individuals share with themselves and with others. The cast of characters includes a closeted gay character and a transgender character. (Lana Wachowski, formerly known as Larry, came out as transgender several years ago.)

Naveen Andrews (Lost) also stars as Jonas, a member of the original cluster who provides the new sensates with some answers.

"Most science-fiction shows that want to deal with questions of sexuality or gender or politics, they make it another world. They make it about the aliens in an alternate world," Straczynski tells BuzzFeed. "This is our world right now and we explore those issues."

"The first episode is a little confusing," he adds.

All episodes of Sense8 premiere on Netflix on Friday, June 5. Check out the trailer below. Will you watch?
