Netflix is not disenchanted with Disenchantment. The streaming service has renewed Matt Groening's animated fantasy comedy for two more 10-episode seasons, according to The Hollywood Reporter. That's in addition to the second season that was greenlit in the show's initial order and will premiere next year. So you can expect new episodes of Disenchantment through 2021.

Disenchantment -- The Simpsons and Futurama creator Matt Groening's first new show in almost 20 years -- premiered in August to generally favorable reviews. TV Guide's Tim Surette called it uneven at first but much better as it goes along thanks to the world-building efforts Groening's know for, which bodes well for future seasons. It tells the story of Princess Bean (Abbi Jacobson), a drunk and rebellious teenage princess who doesn't want to marry the prince her father has chosen for her, so she sets out on her own journey of self-destructive self-discovery alongside her friends Luci (Eric Andre), a demon, and Elfo (Nat Faxon), an elf.

Season 2 of Disenchantment is coming to Netflix in 2019. Season 1 is available to stream now.
