Netflix has revealed a first look at The Get Down, an upcoming music-driven drama from creator Baz Luhrmann.

The sizzle reel is so jam-packed that it's almost over-stimulating. Which is to say it has the same feel as all our favorite Luhrmann projects. In the three-minute preview, we're introduced to a group of South Bronx teens living in the late 1970s. Blending disco, hip-hop and punk, The Get Down will tell the story of how these kids influenced the city and world through their lives and their music.

The Get Down stars Giancarlo Esposito, Jimmy Smits, Jaden Smith, Shameik Moore, Justice Smith, Herizen Guardiola, Skylan Brooks, Tremaine Browne Jr. and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II.

Check it out the trailer below. The Get Down will premiere later this year on Netflix.
