"I couldn't be more honored and excited to be hosting this year's Emmy Awards," Harris added in a statement. "And what perfect timing — I'll just do the exact same script I'm about to use for the Tonys. 'And the Emmy for Best Revival of a Musical goes to Breaking Bad! See, told you it works."

Harris has three Emmys himself, two for the Tony Awards and one for his guest role on Glee.

The 65th Primetime Emmy Awards will broadcast live from L.A.'s NOKIA Theatre on Sunday, Sept. 22 at 8/7c.
