NBC Reveals Summer Premiere Dates for Bear Grylls Competition Series, Anne Heche Comedy

More than a year after the end of Man vs. Wild, adventurer and reality star Bear Grylls will return to TV on NBC on July 8.

Get Out Alive With Bear Grylls follows Grylls as he leads a non-stop extreme-survival journey that tests 10 teams of two as they venture into New Zealand's South Island. Grylls' wildly successful Man vs. Wild was canceled in March 2012 after a contractual dispute between the host and Discovery.

Get Out Alive is one of several new shows premiering this summer. Anne Heche's dark comedy Save Me, which was first ordered last May, will debut on May 23. NBC will also premiere the dramedy Camp on July 10. The series will follow the campers and counselors at Little Otter Family Camp, including the camp's recently divorced director looking for a fresh start (Brothers & Sisters' Rachel Griffiths).
