Jewel has joined the judges panel on The Sing-Off, NBC announced Tuesday.

The four-time Grammy nominee replaces Sara Bareilles, who exited the a cappella competition after one season. Jewel joins fellow judges Ben Folds and Shawn Stockman for the singing competition's upcoming fourth season. Nick Lachey will return as host.

"There are very few musical artists as accomplished and talented as Jewel. Her addition to The Sing-Off judges panel, along with our stellar team of Shawn Stockman and Ben Folds, raises the showmanship of the series up another notch," Paul Telegdy, NBC's President of Alternative and Late Night Programming, said in a statement.

Jewel, who served as a judge and co-host on Bravo's short-lived 2011 songwriting competition Platinum Hit, most recently portrayed June Carter Cash in the Lifetime movie Ring of Fire.

The Sing-Off will return later this year. Are you excited to see Jewel join the judges table?
