"AGT continues to be a ratings sensation and has hit it out of the ballpark creatively this season," said Paul Telegdy, executive vice president of NBC's alternative programming. "We're looking forward to an even bigger summer next year."
Judges Piers Morgan, Sharon Osbourne and Howie Mandel, who replaced David Hasselhoff this season, will be returning for Season 6, along with host Nick Cannon.

In its fifth season currently, the show has averaged 11.8 million viewers, which has undoubtedly been helped by opera-singing prodigy Jackie Evancho, Lady Gaga wannabe Price Poppycock and LeAnn Rimes' bikini-clad performance.
