Mark-Paul Gosselaar is returning to TV.
NBC has given a series order to Gosselaar's sitcom People Are Talking, The Wrap reports.
17 pilots we need to see this fall
The show follows two couples - a "wildly outspoken" foursome of neighbors and best friends -- who analyze and obsess about everything from racial tensions to whether or not their babysitter is a porn star.
This is the Saved by the Bell star's first TV project since his TNT series Franklin & Bash was canceled after four seasons in November. Meaghan Rath, Tone Bell and Bresha Webb also star in People Are Talking, which comes from producer Will Packer (Ride Along) and director Pam Fryman (How I Met Your Mother), who are also both acting as executive producers. DJ Nash is also serving as a writer and executive producer.
