NBC will kick off the 2010 National Football League regular season with a rematch of last year's NFC championship game, the network announced Tuesday.

The Super Bowl XLIV winners, the New Orleans Saints, will face the Minnesota Vikings for the NFL Opening Kickoff game Thursday, Sept. 9.

Super Bowl: Doritos dominates; Saints win

For the season premiere of Sunday Night Football, NBC will showcase the debut of Donovan McNabb with the Washington Redskins against the Dallas Cowboys on Sept. 12.

Then on Sept. 19, SNF will pit past Super Bowl champion Peyton Manning and the Indianapolis Colts against his brother, past Super Bowl champion Eli Manning, and the New York Giants for the first "Manning Bowl" in four years.

In 2009, Sunday Night Football was the No.1 broadcast in the 18-to-49 demographic, and was the second most-watched broadcast among total viewers during the NFL regular season.
