Last Comic Standingwill return for an eighth season with a new host and set of judges.
The stand-up comic competition will premiere Thursday, May 22 at 9/8c on NBC, with JB Smoove now set to host. The Curb Your Enthusiasmalum follows prior host Craig Robinson.
Additionally, Roseanne Barr, Keenen Ivory Wayans and Russell Peters have been tapped to act as judges on the 13-episode eighth season. Wanda Sykes, Page Hurwitz and Javier Winnik will serve as executive producers.
"We are ready to bring back the funny with this relaunch of Last Comic Standing, and can't wait to discover the next great stand-up," said Paul Telegdy, president of alternative and late night programming at NBC. "With Keenen, Roseanne and Russell set as our new judges, JB as host and Wanda, Page and Javier at the helm, there will be plenty of laughter all summer."
