The NBC fall television schedule has arrived!
After a wave of cancellations -- some surprising -- NBC is is launching two new powerhouse dramas in the fall, Timeless and This Is Us, both right after pop culture phenom The Voice. It's also looking to bring back its iconic Thursday night comedy block, with The Good Place and Superstore airing in prime spots.
Beyond that though, NBC is delivering a lot of safe bets early on, with reliable shows such as Law & Order: SVUand the Chicago franchise in expected slots. Newcomer Chicago Justiceand the much-hyped The Blacklistspinoff won't come until mid-season, which is also when we'll see exciting new comedies Powerless, andGreat News, which reunites many from the30 Rock team.

MONDAY
8/7c:The Voice
10/9c: Timeless
New time-travel drama Timeless follows ratings juggernaut The Voice, which adds Miley Cyrus and Alicia Keys this season. Timeless' slot, which helped make The Blacklist a winner, signals a big investment in show from The Shield's Shawn Ryan and Supernatural's Eric Kripke.

TUESDAY
8/7c:The Voice
9/8c: This Is Us
10/9c: Chicago Fire
Another strong program follows The Voice -- this one Dan Fogleman's new dramedy, This Is Us. It's already winning rave reviews for it's "beautiful" and "provocative" exploration of a group of people who are united by birthdays, and much more (and you can check out a trailer here.). Sandwiched between stalwarts The Voice and Chicago Fire, it's being given a strong chance for success.
8/7c: Blindspot
9/8c: Law & Order: SVU
10/9c: Chicago P.D.
Blindspot's move to Wednesday night may prove tricky -- it's where the now-canceled Mysteries of Laura once resided -- but at least it's paired with old faithfuls Law & Order: SVU andChicago P.D.
THURSDAY
8/7c: Superstore
8:30/7:30c: The Good Place
9/8c: Chicago Med
10/9c: The Blacklist
Is NBC's iconic Thursday comedy block back? The network is certainly making an effort to revive it, with a sophomore season of Superstore, followed by The Good Place with Ted Danson -- who's back in a familiar place where everybody knows his name.

8/7c: Caught on Camera with Nick Cannon
9/8c: Grimm
10/9c: Dateline NBC
Looks like we'll continue to be able to thank Grimm it's Friday.

Come January, NBC will fight hard for post-NFL supremacy with the return of Jennifer Lopez cop-drama Shades of Blueand Dick Wolf's new Chicago Justice.
