Another actor is moving to 1313 Mockingbird Lane.
Titled Mockingbird Lane, the pilot will reinvent the 1960s sitcom about a family of monsters — werewolves, vampires and even a Frankenstein — along with the "normal" cousin Marilyn (Wakefield), who is the niece of matriarch Lily. But what defines "normal" anyway?
Wakefield joins Eddie Izzard, who will play Grandpa the vampire. The project, which was pushed to summer because of casting issues and creative aspects, comes from Pushing Daisies mastermind Bryan Fuller.
Wakefield is best known to U.S. audiences as Marianne Dashwood in PBS' Sense & Sensibility miniseries. Pat Priest played the original Marilyn.
