Exclusive Sneak Peek at NBC's New Romantic Comedy Bent: Are You "Smitten"?

She's an uptight lawyer and single mom getting over an ugly divorce. He's a laid-back construction worker recovering from degrading sex with an ex. These two totally different people are drawn together by more than just her need for a new kitchen.

And that's the premise ofBent, NBC's new romantic comedy premiering on Wednesday, March 21 at 9/8c. In the half-hour comedy, from Scrubs writer Tad Quill, Amanda Peet stars as Alex, a woman who hires Peter (David Walton) and his misfit crew to re-model her kitchen as part of her attempt to re-model her life after her cheating husband ends up in jjail.

Standing in the way, among other things, is Alex's handsome doctor boyfriend, with whom she plans to spend a romantic weekend at a bed & breakfast. But will that stop Pete from feeling jealous?

"Is it because Alex has a boyfriend?" Pete's crew member, Clem (Curb Your Enthusiasm's J.B. Smoove), asks. "Or is it because you're smitten?"
