JC Chasez, Lance Bass, Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick briefly came out onstage to join their former bandmate Justin Timberlake on an abridged version of "Bye Bye Bye" that was smashed in between a medley of Timberlake's solo hits. After a few choreographed fist pumps, the lowly four were dropped back beneath the stage while Timberlake continued to perform before he accepted the Video Vanguard Award. "Half of the Moon Men I've ever won, I won with those four guys right there," he said, indicating his former bandmates. "We can keep [this award] at my house."
