Lady Gaga Wins Top Honors at MTV Europe Music Awards

Lady Gaga took home three prizes at the MTV Europe Music Awards for best pop artist, best female singer and best song for her single "Bad Romance."

While Gaga was not present at Sunday's ceremony in Madrid, the singer gave a video acceptance speech from Budapest, Hungary, where she was on tour.

Other winners included Ke$ha for best new act, Justin Bieber for best male artist, Paramore for best alternative act and Eminem for best hip hop act.

Katy Perry also made her first public appearance alongside Russell Brand since their wedding in India two weeks ago to accept the best video award for "California Gurls."

Bon Jovi also took home MTV Global Icon award after three decades in the industry.
