Morena Baccarin has been cast in Fox's Batman-without-Batman series Gotham, reports TV Line.
The Firefly actress (deal with it, Homeland fans) will bring to life DC Comics character Dr. Leslie Thompkins, a dedicated doctor and former friend of Bruce Wayne's (David Mazouz) late parents.
Celebrity Halloween costumes that might even be a little too sexy
Thompkins will be seen putting her medical skills to use at the newly reopened Arkham Asylum's Home for the Criminally Insane when Baccarin's recurring stint begins in early 2015.
