Top Moments: Awkward Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder and Alex Trebek Raps!

Our top moments of the week:

13. Most Brutal Setback: After nearly dying trying to save a baby from a fire in the fall finale of Chicago Fire, viewers are surprised to see Casey alive and well and acting like nothing ever happened. His physical wounds may have healed, but the emotional toll is brutal. Moments after helping a hostage escape from a robber during another fire, Casey takes the bad guy to task and punches him to a bloody pulp. Yeah, that's definitely not part of the job description.

12. Safest Ending: On the buttoned-up season -- and likely series -- finale of the low-rated Hostages, Ellen saves the president's life and extracts the bone marrow needed to save Nina's life. But when the First Lady finds out that the president raped Nina's mom, she says she'll make him pay. Mostly everyone else gets a happy ending — RIP Blair and Archer — but it seems a little weird that Duncan decides to turn himself in... especially since no one was looking for him. Adieu, sweet Hostages.

11. Worst Namesake: Trapped in a burning building with Esposito on Castle, Ryan makes what he believes to be his final call to his wife, Jenny, who is in labor (because that is not contrived at all!). During the emotional conversation, Jenny insists that he pick a name for their baby, so Ryan goes with Sarah Grace if it's a girl and Javier for a boy after Eposito. "Javier? You're going to name a white Irish kid Javier?" Espo quips. Fortunately, no! Jenny delivers a girl, and Ryan and Espo (duh) survive!

10. Best Birthday Suit: On Trophy Wife, after years of trying to avoid a birthday curse, Pete enjoys his special day dancing with Kate to one his favorite songs in a dive bar. But oops, a trenchcoat-wearing Kate forgot the birthday surprise she had planned for her husband earlier in the day and accidentally exposes herself when Pete spins her. Curse reversed?

9. Toughest Victory: Just when it seemed like Olivia was starting to move on from the brutal kidnapping and torture that kicked off the season, William "The Beast" Lewis returns to stand trial on Law & Order: SVU. He represents himself, which means that Olivia has to endure more of his manipulation during her testimony. Olivia makes it through in one piece — or so it seems — and Lewis is found guilty. But in the final moments of the episode, we see the usually steely Olivia sobbing alone in a stairwell. Where are you, Stabler?! Benson needs you!

8. Most Mysterious Resurrection: Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.finally revealed the truth about what happened to Agent Coulson after his death in The Avengers. He was dead for days, not seconds, when Nick Fury "moved heaven and earth" to bring him back to life, but because he suffered an ungodly trauma, they had to wipe his memories to give him back the will to live. But seriously, something out there in the universe brought him back to life, right?

7. Worst Exes: Sophia Bush and Chad Michael Murray worked together on One Tree Hill for three more years after their 2006 divorce, and it's safe to say that time has not healed all wounds. When a Watch What Happens: Live caller asks Bush when she last spoke to Murray, the actress laughs and intriguingly replies, "That's such an interesting question, but my mother once said to me that if you don't have anything nice to say, not to say anything at all." Pressed by Andy Cohen for more deets, Bush says that she has no beef with CMM, but that he might not feel the same way. "At the end of the day, we're grown-ups," she says. "And I actually think it's interesting that when people split in a way that's unpleasant, they usually just go on quite literally hating each other." Ball's in your court, Chad.

6. Who's Your Daddy? Award: After learning that Marilyn planned to name her unborn baby Peter, after her yet-to-be-revealed baby daddy, Eli spends almost an entire episode of The Good Wife trying to figure out whether the Governor knocked her up. Marilyn repeatedly denies that it's Peter Florrick, but also refuses to name the real father. In the final moments of the episode, though, she introduces Eli to her Peter, aka famed director Peter Bogdanovich. "Marilyn was trying to protect me, but I'm fine if you need me to go public," Peter tells a confused and silent Eli. Someone's definitely been putting the "action" into lights, camera, action.

5. Most Heartbreaking Resurrection: Downton Abbeykicks off its fourth season with a deeply bereaved Lady Mary six months after her beloved husband Matthew's death. After numerous attempts by loved ones to snap her out of it fail, Mary finally breaks down, sobbing into Carson's arms. The Ice Queen may have lost her king, but her humanity is still alive and well. "I've spent too long in the land of the dead," she admits. Welcome back, Mary.

4. Most Awkward Name Game: On the Season 18 premiere of The Bachelor, Juan Pablo has to whittle down his group of 27 women. Although he warns he is bad with names, it is actually one of the Bachelorettes who mishears him during the late-night rose ceremony. Mistaking "Kat" for her own name, Kylie steps forward to receive the rose only to be quickly told by Juan Pablo that he didn't actually say her name. The only thing worse than that moment of humiliation for Kylie is the fact that she gets sent home on the first night. 

3. Worst Temper Tantrum: On Justified 's Season 5 premiere, a rattled Boyd Crowder perhaps goes too far in his efforts to spring Ava from prison. After realizing he can't bribe the judge in Ava's case, Boyd turns to the judge's friend Lee Paxton, whom Boyd offers $300,000 to help sway His Honor. But Paxton, no doubt holding a grudge from last season, tells Boyd he'll only help get Ava out if Boyd turns himself in for the crime. When Boyd balks, Paxton questions Boyd's love for Ava, which sends Boyd into a furious rage that ends with Boyd beating Paxton to a bloody (possibly dead) pulp. We like a man who stands up for his woman and all, but something tells us this is only going to make things worse for Ava.

2. Rapper's Delight Award: Alex Trebek shows just how down with it he really is on Monday's edition of Jeopardy!. During the Double Jeopardy portion of the telecast, the category named "It's a Rap" prompted Trebek to rap lyrics by Notorious B.I.G., The Beastie Boys and Grandmaster Flash, among others, as clues for the contestants. At least now Trebek knows what career path to follow after he retires from Jeopardy! Holler!

1. Best Exes: Who says exes can't get along? While accepting their People's Choice Award for Favorite On-Screen Chemistry, Vampire Diaries co-stars and former flames Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder use the opportunity to riff on the elephant in the room. "We started dating on the show," Dobrev says. "We started dating in real life," Somerhalder continues. "And then we broke up in real life," Dobrev says. "And yet our characters are still dating on the show," he adds. "It's a good thing it's not awkward," Dobrev jokes, as the duo feign uneasiness. "Well, it's a good thing we have chemistry!" she says before Somerhalder gives her a peck on the cheek. Good thing they have a sense of humor too!
