Molly Ringwald Welcomes Twins

Former Brat Packer Molly Ringwald plays a grandmother on Secret Life of the American Teenager, but in real life she's a brand-new mom to a twin boy and girl.

Ringwald, 41, and her husband Panio Gianopoulos, welcomed daughter Adele Georgiana and son Roman Stylianos after a natural birth on Friday, July 10 in Los Angeles, according to People.

The two new additions will join their five-year-old sister, Mathilda Ereni.

"I actually think [the age difference] is a good thing considering we're having twins, as it would be so much harder with a toddler than with an almost 6-year-old," the '80s icon told Fit Pregnancyin June.

Ringwald's pregnancy was written into Secret Life. Her character, Anne Juergens, is expecting a baby, while her teenage daughter, Amy, has just given birth. The two will be raised side-by-side.
