Missy Elliott is set to join Katy Perry onstage for the Super Bowl halftime show, a source tells The Associated Press.

Elliott's performance was supposed to be a surprise and the NFL has not announced her participation. However, Perry hinted at Elliott's involvement in a press conference on Thursday revealing an "old-school" female performer would appear. "When you hear the first ring of the chord, I think jaws with drop and faces will melt," Perry said.
Sunday's halftime show is truly shaping up to be an eclectic affair. In addition to Elliott, Perry has also invited Lenny Kravitz to perform.
