Sorvino will first appear in the seventh episode of the show's eighth season. Her character will probably pick up some of the slack for Maggie Lawson's Juliet, who will only be in a few Season 8 episodes because of Lawson's casting on the new ABC comedy Back in the Game.

An official premiere date for Season 8 of Psych has not been announced, but USA recently expanded the order to 10 episodes.

Do you think Sorvino is a good addition to the cast?
