The Mindy Project Gets More Episodes and Introduces Mindy's College Ex

It's a big day for Mindy fans! Fox has heard your (many, many) requests and ordered six additional episodes of The Mindy Project, reports The Hollywood Reporter.

To put that into words you'll understand: That's another six episodes that could potentially feature Danny Castellano (Chris Messina) dancing. And more Diamond Dan is never, ever a bad thing.

The additional episode order brings the show's third season, which is averaging 3.1 million viewers with time-shifted viewing, to a total of 21 episodes.

But that's not the only good news. E! Online reports that Lee Pace, he of the pretty face and the late, but beloved show Pushing Daisies, will be stopping by as a guest star later this season. He'll be playing, Alex, a millionaire tech entrepreneur who took Mindy's virginity back in college. Which I'm pretty sure is basically every woman's fantasy.
