TV Guide Magazine: What's the key difference between The Mindy Project and MTV's The Pauly D Project?
Warburton: I can't think of any.
TV Guide Magazine: Tell us an idea that didn't make it out of the writers' room.
Warburton: Mindy's character quits being a doctor to try out for The Voice. This actually scared two networks.
TV Guide Magazine: If you didn't have this show, what series would you most like to work on?
Warburton: I'd be a cameraman on Deadliest Catch.
TV Guide Magazine: How will your show change the face of TV?
Warburton: We try to make a 30-minute romantic comedy every week. If that doesn't work, at least America now knows that [basketball player] Baron Davis' favorite romantic comedy is Splash.
TV Guide Magazine: With which series would you like to do a crossover?
Warburton: Game of Thrones. With her crazy spiky heels, Mindy could win any battle in Westeros. And we could finally do more nudity.
