Rory (Alexis Bledel) and Jess (Milio Ventimiglia) shippers can officially let out a sigh of relief. Netflix confirmed Wednesday that Ventimiglia will be joining the four-part Gilmore Girls revival.

Ventimiglia joined the Gilmore Girls cast in Season 2 to become the second of Rory's three great loves. Since the series ended in 2007 with Rory turning down Logan Huntzberger's (Matt Czuchry) proposal and Czuchry confirmed his return to Stars Hollow earlier this month, it seems probable that the Netflix four-part series will deal with who is actually the right guy for Rory (and end years of heated debate).

Liza Weil adds her name ot the Gilmore Girls revival

Ventimiglia and Czuchry join Liza Weil (Paris) and Yanic Truesdale (Michel) on Netflix's list of confirmed stars returning to the show. Bledel, Lauren Graham (Lorelai), Scott Patterson (Luke), Kelly Bishop (Emily), Keiko Agena (Lane) and Sean Gunn (Kirk) were previously announced.

Production on the revival began last week on the Warner Bros. lot in Burbank, Calif. There's still no word on whether Melissa McCarthy will make it to set for a cameo or if Jared Padalecki has time in his busy Supernatural schedule to turn Rory's love triangle into a square as her first love, Dean.

No premiere date has been set for the Gilmore Girls revival.
