Fighting in Moscow in an exhibition bout, Rourke dropped 29-year-old boxer Elliot Seymour twice before the referee decided to stop the fight. Despite an unimpressive 1-9 record, Seymour was no slouch, as he was a former California Golden Gloves champion. It was Rourke's first boxing match in over 20 years.

Known mostly for his roles in The WrestlerIron Man 2, and Angel Heart, Rourke began his career as an amateur boxer in the mid-1960s and put together a record of 27-3. In the 1990s, he retired from acting to become a professional boxer and compiled a 6-2-0 record.
