Mickey Rooney left his entire estate, valued at $18k, to Mark Rooney, a stepson who was also his caretaker, the Associated Press reports.

The legendary actor, who passed away April 6, signed his most recent will on March 11 of this year. Filed in a Los Angeles court on Tuesday, it names Mark Rooney as the sole beneficiary. According to attorney Michael Augustine, the executor of Rooney's estate, the actor lost much of his fortune to financial mismanagement by another stepchild, which could explain why his eight surviving children and his estranged wife Jan Rooney were disinherited in his will.

Mickey Rooney Dies at 93

However, as part of a previous agreement, Jan Rooney will receive his Social Security benefits and some of his pension earnings.

Plans for a funeral are still underway, but it will likely be a small, private affair. A larger celebration of Rooney's life may be held at a later date.
