Bret Michaels Responding "Well" to Treatment, Plans Tour Dates

Not only is Bret Michaels doing better — there's also a plan for him to resume touring, according to a statement on his website.

A week after suffering a brain hemorrhage, Michaels is "responding well to tests and treatments," the statement says.

"While additional studies are planned throughout the week to hopefully detect the exact cause of the rupture, Bret will remain monitored closely by his medical team to make sure no further complications occur."

Though the 47-year-old singer had a minor setback Tuesday, doctors were encouraged and plan to release more specific information Monday, according to the statement.

His camp is also hopeful Michaels will be back on his feet soon, and have even rescheduled dates so he'll back on his tour by May 26, "provided there are no further complications or setbacks."
