Jace, 51, was detained Monday night after his wife April, 40, was found shot to death at her home in south Los Angeles. He was charged with homicide Tuesday morning, according to CNN.
His bail is set at $1 million, according to his booking report.
Jace starred as Officer Julien Lowe on FX's The Shield, and also played Terrell on Southland. His other television credits include guest-starring roles on The Mentalist, Private Practice and CSI.
