Michael Gottlieb, who wrote and directed Mannequin, died on Friday, according to The Hollywood Reporter. He was 69.
Gottlieb died after he was involved in a motorcycle accident north of La Cañada Flintridge, Calif.

The prolific director and producer also wrote and helmed Mr. Nanny, in addition to directing The Shrimp on the Barbieand A Kid in King Arthur's Court. He also produced video games including Mortal Kombat: Special Forces, Muppet Monster Adventure and Mortal Kombat 4.
Most recently, Gottlieb taught screenwriting classes at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena.
Gottlieb is survived by his three daughters.
