AsThe Walking Dead's post-finale teaser recently hinted, there's a big reason to be excited for the second of half of the AMC drama's season: Negan is coming!
Viewers first caught wind of the iconic graphic novel villain's arrival earlier this year when AMC confirmed that Jeffrey Dean Morgan had been cast in the role. So, what does Morgan think about playing the foul-mouthed, murderous baddie? "This is such a departure from what especially TV viewers have seen of me," Morgan tells TVGuide.com. "I try to not look at characters as if they're sociopaths when I'm playing them. I think they're completely rational human beings! That being said, [Negan's] got his own motivations. ... It was an opportunity that just doesn't come around often. "

But what fans really want to know is just how the comic book character will translate on screen. "As far as I know, it's going to be very much parallel to the comic books," Morgan hints. "If you know what's coming, then I don't have to tell you."
Translation: Somebody (Spoiler alert: It was this person in the comics) will be on the receiving end of Negan's famous barb wire-wrapped baseball bat named Lucille. "I'm no p---y! I don't mind handling a baseball bat!" Morgan says with a laugh. "I feel real comfortable with Lucille in my hands, let's say that."
