The Affair Mega Buzz: Get Ready for an Ugly Custody Battle
And it makes Helen spin out of control!
Divorces are often messy, but wait until you see what's coming up on The Affair.
On Sunday's episode (10/9c, Showtime), the custody battle between Noah (Dominic West) and Helen (Maura Tierney) takes a nasty turn in court -- and the consequences are severe for both parties. For starters, Noah's best shot at getting joint custody could prohibit him from living with Alison (Ruth Wilson). Naturally, that conversation doesn't go over so well, adding even more fractures to their relationship.

But Helen has no real reason to celebrate either. In fact, the stress of the hearing, coupled with an overbearing Max (Josh Stamberg), leads Helen to drink and smoke a little too much -- the end result of which is disastrous. Let's just say that Helen may have even more legal trouble to look forward to.
