There's no rest for the weary on Masters of Sex.

With Bill (Michael Sheen) and Virginia (Lizzy Caplan) having at long last published their book, it's time for the next step in their endeavor: trying to make a bit of money off of it.

While Virginia's search for a financial backer brings her to a flirtatious perfumier (new cast member Josh Charles) who may be more interested in her than the research she's promoting, Bill's shopping the book around lands him back at his old stomping grounds, Washington University. Though the meeting may not lead to exactly the kind of collaboration Bill's hoping for, it does lead to a renewed partnership with an old pal: former Wash. U. provost Barton Scully (Beau Bridges), who's now in a relationship that will prove quite surprising to longtime viewers.
