The doctor will be in once again this season on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.
B.D. Wong will reprise his role as psychiatrist Dr. George Huang on an episode scheduled to air this November, TVGuide.com has learned exclusively. The episode returns to the case from the show's 300th episode, in which Benson (Mariska Hargitay) solved a child abduction that had haunted her for more than a decade.
In the new episode, the perp, Lewis Hodda (guest star Tom Sizemore), is finally going on trial after dozens of delays. During the proceedings, Dr. Huang is called on to testify, but there's just one wrinkle: He's called as a witness for the defense.
Wong was a recurring guest star on SVU's second and third seasons before becoming a series regular for Seasons 4-12. He has made a few guest appearances since then, most recently in the Season 15 episode, "Thought Criminal," in 2014. Since leaving SVU, Wong starred on the short-lived Awake and most recently played a pivotal guest spot on USA's summer breakout Mr. Robot.
Law & Order: SVU airs Wednesdays at 9/8c on NBC. Check out a photo of Wong from his upcoming episode below.
