SNL boss Lorne Michaels and Rudolph will executive-produce alongside Erin David and Dave Becky.
It's a relief for fans of Rudolph who were left hanging after Up All Night, her comedy with Christina Applegate and Will Arnett, was canceled. Although pilot offers came through, Rudolph reportedly was holding out for a variety show project.
Rudolph returned to her old SNL stomping grounds in February 2012 when she hosted for the first time. On the big screen, Rudolph's latest films include Grown Ups 2and The Way, Way Back.
