Netflix may be putting all its eggs in the Marvel basket, but Marvel's Iron Fistis the exception to that rule.
Just over a month after Danny Rand (Finn Jones) returned to punch people around with his magical, glowing fist in Season 2, Netflix has officially canceled Marvel's Iron Fist. "Marvel's Iron Fist will not return for a third season on Netflix," reps for Netflix and Marvel told Deadline today.
"Everyone at Marvel Television and Netflix is proud of the series and grateful for all of the hard work from our incredible cast, crew and showrunners. We're thankful to the fans who have watched these two seasons, and for the partnership we've shared on this series. While the series on Netflix has ended, the immortal Iron Fist will live on."

Hey, at least there's a chance he'll show up in the much-anticipated Season 3 of Daredevil? Or maybe The Defenderswill get back together for another small series? Yeah... unlikely. Both seasons of Iron Fist were panned by critics, but Netflix felt confident to renew for a second run. It is the first of the Marvel Netflix series to get an official cancellation, and brings in to question how the Netflix portion of the Marvel Cinematic Universe will continue.
The first two seasons of Marvel's Iron Fist are currently streaming on Netflix.
