We're going back to Hell's Kitchen on Oct. 19
Matt Murdock is dead. Only Daredevil survives.
The trailer for Season 3 of Marvel's Daredevil is here, and it promises a pissed-off Double D (Charlie Cox) getting back to his Season 1 roots in his black ninja outfit, the return of Wilson Fisk (Vincent D'Onofrio) and the debut of his iconic Kingpin suit and all the bone-crunching action you've come to expect from the Netflix/Marvel team-up (you know there's a hallway fight!)
The new season -- which comes two and a half years after Season 2 -- will find Daredevil abandoning his Matt Murdock identity and going full vigilante. "I once believed that justice could be found in a court of law, and in the light of day. But I was fooling myself," he says. (He also said this in the Iron Fist Season 2 post-credits tease, where he made his first appearance since he survived a building collapse on The Defenders.) "Darkness only responds to darkness. And the thing is, I'd rather die as the Devil than live as Matt Murdock."
Marvel's Daredevil Season 3 premieres Friday, Oct. 19 on Netflix.
