If we're being honest, the thing we get most excited about with each release of a new Marvel Netflix series is the post-credits tease in which we see what Marvel has up its sleeve for its other shows. If you've somehow already managed to get through Marvel's Iron Fist — which was released Friday Sep 7, and apparently works toward fixing the show's most blinding problem — then you already know that the post-finale bit involves Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox), aka Daredevil.

Toward the end of Marvel's The Defenders, Daredevil was squished when an ENTIRE BUILDING FELL ON TOP OF HIM, which is a pretty rock-solid cause of death. However, in that show's post-credit tease, we saw a flattened but alive Matt Murdock being nursed back to health by nuns, alleviating our fears that he had perished.

In the post-credits tease of Iron Fist Season 2, a bloodied and battered Matt is in a confessional booth, and boy does he sound pissed as he gets ready for Season 3 of Marvel's Daredevil. In fact, he's so angry that he's decided to retire his alter ego. No, he's not getting rid of the hood, he's saying goodbye to the lawyer.

Iron Fist Season 2 Finally Gives the People What They Want

"I once believed that justice could be found in a court of law, and in the light of day. But I was fooling myself," he says. "Darkness only responds to darkness. And the thing is, I'd rather die as the Devil than live as Matt Murdock."

Season 3 of Marvel's Daredevil is expected later this year on Netflix.
