Unless you've been living under a rock the past few months, you're probably aware that Avengers: Infinity War is going to completely rock the Marvel Cinematic Universe to its core. But what sort of fallout will the film have for Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.?

Given the scale of the epic alien battle set in Wakanda in the upcoming film, it's safe to say that showdown will pop up on S.H.I.E.L.D.'s radar. "It'll definitely catch their attention," executive producer Jed Whedon confirms. "I think it'll change some of our characters' motivations, and it'll change our trajectory a little bit."

Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.: Is FitzSimmons Pregnant Already?

Invading alien overlords and all-powerful infinity stones that can destroy the earth with a snap of a finger tend to do that, right? If you're hoping to see Star-Lord (Chris Pratt) stop by the bunker to weigh in on Coulson's (Clark Gregg) life-threatening illness or the current time travel situation though, you're expectations may be set a little too high.

Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. airs Fridays at 9/8c on ABC.
