Marlon, A New Sitcom Based On Marlon Wayans, Is Heading to NBC

The new show is based loosely on Wayans' life.

Marlon, based on the life of comedian Marlon Wayans, has been ordered to series at NBC. He'll star in the new show, playing a loving but immature divorced dad trying to co-parent his children with his ex-wife, who very much has her life in order.

Essence Atkins (Are We There Yet?), who will play Marlon's ex-wife, with Notlim Taylor and Amir O'Neil playing his children. Christopher Moynihan, who up until know worked primarily as an actor on shows such as Veepand Man Up, will serve as writer and executive producer on the series.
