Arrow's Manu Bennett Arrested on Assault Charge

Manu Bennett has been arrested on a misdemeanor assault charge,Peoplereports.

Bennett, who played Slade Wilson on Arrow and Azog the Defiler in The Hobbittrilogy, was arrested at approximately 4:30 a.m. on Sunday and held on $1,600 bond. According to the San Antonio Police Department, the 45-year-old allegedly punched a 29-year-old male at a party. He was released around 1 p.m. Sunday.

The actor had been in town to appear at the Alamo City Comic Con on Saturday and Sunday.
