CBS went on a renewal streak on Friday, ordering second seasons for freshman series FBI, Magnum P.I. and The Neighborhood.

Expectations were high for the reboot of Magnum P.I., which is set in Hawaii and follows former Navy SEAL Thomas Magnum (Jay Hernandez). According to the network, the new series improved its Monday 9/8c time period ratings by 32 percent, which was enough to snag it a second season.

Similarly, Dick Wolf's new procedural drama, FBI, performed well right out of the gate, taking the title of CBS's No. 1 new show, averaging almost 13 million viewers each week.

The Neighborhood ended up improving its year-to-year time period viewership on Mondays, drawing an average of nearly 8 million viewers. It also served to provide some much-needed diversity in CBS's lineup.

The Neighborhood airs Mondays at 8/7c; Magnum P.I. airs Mondays at 9/8c; and FBI airs Tuesdays at 9/8c on CBS.
