Want to look like January Jones, Christina Hendricks or Elisabeth Moss? Then avoid the gym.
Mad Men creator Matthew Weiner has told his female cast members not to exercise or diet in order to maintain a curvy figure, Jones tells British magazine Tatler.
"He would prefer we didn't work out and that we eat really well, so we look like healthy women," she says, according to Britain's Daily Mail, which has excerpts of the interview.
The blonde beauty told the magazine that producers admonished her last year for being too thin. She say she has since learned to embrace her curves — as well as "beer and carbs."
"It's OK to have curves and be a woman," the 32-year-old actress says. "I wish more women would realize that's what men like."
Perhaps Weiner is onto something by encouraging actresses not to starve themselves. Hendricks, Jones' voluptuous co-star, was named Esquire's best-looking woman in America earlier this year.
An email to Weiner's rep was not immediately returned.
