Mark your calendars, because Idris Elba returns as London's gruffest and sexiest detective in Season 5 of Luther this spring. The new season will kick off Sunday, June 2 at 8/7c on BBC America.

The next season will see DCI John Luther trying to solve another set of horrifying murders, but soon realizes he and his new partner, Catherine Halliday (Wunmi Mosaku), are being misled in order to protect a seemingly "untouchable corruption." If that wasn't stressful enough, gangster George Cornelius (Patrick Malahide) will be putting on his own pressure to get an answer, forcing Luther to wonder if he can save himself and solve these murders at the same time.

Luther isn't the only BBC America show making a return in the coming months. The network also announced that Top Gear will return for Season 26 on Thursday, April 25 at 9/8c. Matt LeBlanc, Chris Harris, Rory Reid and The Stig return for five episodes in late spring to find "the very best supercar alternatives."
